Why everyone keeps coming back.

Marquez Restaurant is a delightful culinary gem nestled in Arlington, TX, expertly blending the rich flavors of Salvadoran, Honduran, and Mexican cuisines. Situated conveniently at 928 N Collins St A, just across from the iconic AT&T Stadium, this welcoming spot offers a vibrant dining experience that transports you to the heart of Central America through its bold and authentic dishes.

Step inside, and you'll immediately notice the clean, inviting atmosphere coupled with warm and attentive service—elements that guests like Diego Moreno Ramirez praise for creating a cozy and friendly environment right from the moment you walk through the door. The staff’s genuine kindness enhances the overall experience, making every visit feel personal and memorable.

Marquez Restaurant’s menu is a celebration of traditional flavors and comforting classics. Dive into their hearty Sopa De Pollo or the richly flavored Sopa De Res, perfect for warming up on any day. For those craving authentic Honduran specialties, the Enchiladas Hondureñas and savory Boleadas Hondureñas showcase unique regional twists that are delightfully different from their Mexican counterparts. Don’t miss the Platano Con Carne, a sweet and savory dish that perfectly balances tender meat with ripe plantains.

Salvadoran delights are also front and center here. The golden pupusas—stuffed with loroco and cheese—are a particular favorite, offering a crispy yet soft texture packed with rich, melted cheese and fragrant notes from the loroco flower. These comforting pockets of flavor have left lasting impressions on customers like Michelle Espinoza, who fondly recalls the taste as reminiscent of cherished family traditions. The menu’s tamales are generously portioned and bursting with fresh, savory goodness, providing a satisfying alternative to typical Mexican tamales, as noted by Francisco Leung.

Vegetable lovers and adventurous eaters alike can savor the Sopa De Mondongo with its tender tripe and vegetables simmered to perfection, while smaller, authentic touches such as the budget-friendly Masa De Arroz ($0.50) offer traditional flavors in bite-sized form.

Guests frequently highlight the freshness and warmth of the food. The fried yuca and crispy plantains, mentioned by Joshua “M1dN1ght” Isaias, showcase the kitchen’s ability to deliver both quality and speedy service without compromising flavor. It’s a great spot for those wanting a comforting bite before or after an event at the stadium, with Secret Shopper emphasizing the excellent caldo de res and the freshness that makes the dishes stand out.

Overall, Marquez Restaurant brings a genuinely heartfelt approach to Central American and Mexican cooking. It’s not just a meal—it’s an invitation to experience culture, tradition, and vibrant flavors in a welcoming Arlington setting. Whether you’re a local craving authentic pupusas or a traveler seeking new tastes near AT&T Stadium, Marquez delivers a flavorful, warm, and memorable dining experience that beckons you to return.

I went here a couple weeks ago and I am still blown away. First of all the service was very kind and attentive right when you walk in the door. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming. And the food was amazing. We tried the tamales, tacos, and the pupusas and all three were full of flavor and love. I recommend going here if you are in the area for an event at the AT&T stadium, this food is WAY better than the stadium food, or any other food in the area for that matter. A true hidden gem with affordable prices as-well! Please do yourself a favor and enjoy this restaurant with all it offers! You will not be disappointed and will leave very satisfied!

Excellent caldo de res. Good pupusas too! awesome little Salvadoran restaurant right across the street from the Cowboys stadium. Hot fresh food. Friendly staff. You might need to know a little Spanish to order. I always order in Spanish and so I didn't give her an opportunity to speak English.

Great pupusas! Reminded me of when my father would come back from El Salvador with food including pupusas or when making them with my great abuelita.

My wife and I really enjoyed our visit here. We thought it was just a Mexican restaurant, but found out that they also serve Salvadorian and Honduran food. We ordered Salvadorian and Honduran enchiladas. They are not the typical enchiladas we are used to. The Salvadorian enchilada was fantastic. We also got Salvadorian tamales, which are bigger than the typical Mexican tamales. It was really good too. We topped it off with some horchata. Very good prices and the service was very friendly. The interior has a very good feel of authenticity.

Cute little spot. I got the papusas with beans and cheese and they were really good, however the papusas revueltas were mainly cheese and hardly any pork. The repollo is one of the best I’ve tried - crispy and delicious. I can’t speak for the rest of the menu, but my experience was great! Front of house knew English as well as Spanish (of course) so ordering is not difficult if you don’t speak Spanish!
